Publix opens hospital pharmacy at Jupiter Medical Center
LAKELAND, Florida–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Publix Pharmacy and Jupiter Medical Center today opened the doors to a new pharmacy at the Anderson Family Cancer Institute at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida. In addition to the services available at Publix pharmacies, this location provides access to medications not typically available at traditional pharmacies, including but not limited to those used to treat carcinomas, leukemias, lymphomas , melanomas and sarcomas.

Patients at Jupiter Medical Center will be offered the option of receiving their first prescription at the hospital and continuing to refill their prescriptions at their neighborhood Publix Pharmacy.
As part of the collaboration agreement, Publix Pharmacy is now the preferred pharmacy for the Jupiter Medical Center benefits plan.
With today’s opening, Publix Pharmacy now operates 13 hospital pharmacies across the state of Florida. The company continues to pursue collaborative opportunities within its seven-state operating area.
